Teacher Appreciation Week!!!

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

King James Version (KJV)
Psalm 100

This beautiful rainbow of balloons greeted everyone on Monday morning to kick off the Teacher Appreciation Week!!! The teachers and children loved it!!!

The families planned a big Breakfast on Tuesday and Salty/Sweet Treats on Thursday.  There were gifts, treats, notes, flowers, hugs, cards, more hugs, Notes about the Teacher, surprises, and more!!!  What a week!!!!  Thank you for all the special treatment!  We were appreciated!

Super Scientists!!!  A project was completed. Our 3's and 4's now have white lab coats to wear when they are at the sensory tubs or doing a science project.  Thanks to everyone who donated white shirts and/or lab coats.  They were so excited and I was too.  I have ordered a new children's book about Albert Einstein that will be a great resource for our children.  We will be adding children's tweezers, goggles, and magnifying glasses.

More food pics!!!!

Mrs. Stevi's class had a treat as one of her alumnus stopped by and read to her class.  He is now a 2nd grader.  She was very proud of him.

It's Operation Christmas Child Time!  If you would like to pack a box at home with your child, please send it to the Learning Depot by Wednesday.  We will be working together to pack a few boxes this week.  Please send one or two items to go in the boxes if you can.

Mrs. Heidi's class created a cute door too.

Another project completed for Mrs. Fran's Friends.  The photo department at Sam's and Wal-Mart is saving me their tubes.  These are great for lots of projects.  Aren't these cylinders cute accessories for our block center?  Their names are on the back so the children can read the names and turn it around to check their reading!

We had about 8 kids get to go to the Treasure Box for sending in the password last week.  Let's see if we can double that number this week!  Remember write the password down and send it to school in your child's folder.  The pass word is Turkey Treats!!!
